Spellfire’s New Additions Improve the Classic CCG Experience
When playing Spellfire, expect to find an epic fantasy world at your fingertips, now with the unique experience of collecting both digital and physical revenue-generating NFT cards.
The Spellfire community is growing at a steady pace! Whether you are new or returning to the magical world, we’re sharing some insight about this beloved CCG with modern design sensibilities for a new generation of players.
Upcoming iOS and Android App
Spellfire will not only be played on tabletops, as it has been for decades. Spellfire reshapes the traditional concept of a CCG, where new and experienced players, crypto enthusiasts, gamers and fantasy world lovers will find something for themselves. Players can even look forward to fighting it out in epic cross-platform battles!
One of the more notable features of the app is that it allows the QR codes located on the back of all physical cards to be attributed to a player’s personal account.
QR codes can also be used to view descriptions of each card and its effects. Players will be able to read guidance on how to use each card, no matter its type, in addition to viewing its current owner, expiration date, status, and NFT number.
The app is also the place players will come to use cards that are labeled as ‘Interactive’. Interactive cards will only work in-app. These cards contain spells, runes, and alchemy casts that will be controlled by our software.
New Characters, Races, and Cults
With Spellfire Re-Master the Magic, we are also expanding our universe with the new Prime Edition. Players will find lots of new content to enjoy here with new champions, races, cults, and even rules which have never been used in Spellfire before.
Our Prime Edition champions possess new books of spells and prayers. Some of these spells are unique, meaning only these new champions can cast them.
The world of Spellfire has been populated by a wide variety of races since its inception. We have added to this with ‘Insects’ from Wet Deserts, and ‘Bloodborn’ from Bloodbirth.
Cults are another addition that adds new layers of strategy, allowing for more immersive gameplay and presenting an exciting set of abilities. There are now 11 cults in the world that offer some exclusive bonuses.
We believe that these additions make the game both more balanced, diverse and most importantly — fun to play!
