Meet The Spellfire Champions: Monsters, Psionicists, Clerics, Regents
We are back with the final installment of our Meet the Spellfire Champions series. In this article, we’ll introduce you to some fearsome creatures, psychic beings, and more! Keep reading to learn more about Monsters, Psionicists, Clerics, and Regents!
These powerful (and dreadful) looking creatures make up the majority of non-humanoid champions. They possess a variety of special abilities and can use magical items and artifacts. If your monster has a red monster icon, it will not possess icon power. These champions are “lone wolves” and cannot be allies.
Psionicists can be of any race and can use their psionic powers as part of their icon abilities. Certain Psionicist cards will have special offensive or defensive powers that other cards can negate using their special powers. These champions can use allies, artifacts from the same world, magical items, and sometimes spells and other cards — depending on their special powers.
As mentioned in our previous article, this type of champion possesses icon abilities that allow it to cast cleric spells. These brave champions are immune to the Fear of Undead rule and like many others, can be of any race. Players are encouraged to check the description of their Cleric card to see if it has any additional special powers such as psionic powers, blood abilities, and thieving skills. Clerics can also use magical items and artifacts.
Regents stand alone from the rest of the champions as they have the power to use blood ability cards as part of their icon ability. Regents can also use artifacts from the same world, magical items, and other cards that their special powers allow.
Now that you’re well-versed in the seven different champions of Spellfire, build your strategy and get prepared for a play-to-earn adventure unlike any other!
