Meet Suingu — The Master of Spellfire
Spellfire: Re-Master the Magic features a huge array of new champions, realms, spells, and events to collect. The project is a fan-focused reimagining of a classic game and this is why we are expanding the game’s cast of characters to include our community, partnerships, and even developers!
Suingu = Ugnius is the founder of the new Spellfire. In fact, it was his leadership that introduced the idea of creating something that the community could own and profit from — Original NFT cards. Many of Spellfire’s newer fans have him to thank for the games most important developments.
The Story Behind Spellfire
Ugnius has been a big fan of the game since the early ’90s, playing Spellfire not only casually, but also competitively. As time went on, he introduced the game to his family, friends, and finally — the office. Once his colleagues started playing and enjoying the game in team-building sessions, Spellfire became an important part of office life. But they had started to wonder what happened to the game and why hasn’t it taken a leap online.
One thing led to another and 25 years after its initial release, the team decided to bring the game back to life. The inspiration behind remastering Spellfire came from nostalgic childhood memories and a strong desire to return a once-beloved game to its loyal fans.
Fast forward to today and it’s been almost 5 years since the team began work on the project. The important addition of NFTs bring the ownership of analog gaming into the digital world and additions like Play-to-Earn and augmented reality modernize the game for today’s market.
