Spellfire is easy to learn but difficult to master. Its gameplay formula is the reason it has stood the test of time ⌛
Playable for fun with friends, or competitively in ranked modes that are a true test of skill, Spellfire has a mode for everyone 🙌
Spellfire’s gameplay is segmented into seven phases. But only phases 1, 5, and 6 are essential ☝️
👉 Phase 0 — Play Rule Cards.
👉 Phase 1 — Draw three cards.
👉 Phase 2 — Play a realm, holding, or dungeon.
👉 Phase 3 — Play Cards into the pool and use powers. Any number of champions, artifacts and magical items can be played into the pool. Any spells or combat cards playable in phase 3 can be cast.
👉 Phase 4 — Attack an opponent’s realm.
👉 Phase 5 — Adjust hand size. Players draw or discard cards from their hand until the correct hand size is reached. Some cards allow for adjusted hand sizes.
👉 Phase 6 — End turn. Play proceeds to the next player.
